TRAVEL LIGHT

True or False?  Young Living’s Dentarome all-natural toothpaste is used as a deodorant by many in the know...

It’s true.  And especially handy when travelling.  Take Dentarome and it doubles as your toothpaste and deodorant.  Why pack two items when one does the trick! To use as a deodorant, just smooth a pea-sized amount onto each armpit. If possible, allow to dry before putting your clothes on.

BUSH LAUNDRY

Put a few drops or so of your favourite Young Living single essential oil or blend onto an old hankie and pop it in with your load of washing to add a naturally fresh note to your clothes, towels and sheets.

You may also do the same in your diswasher.

Eucalyptus and lavender will have you feeling like your washing has dried in the sun while draped over fragrant trees and bushes.

ARE THEY LISTENING?

A story/testimonial is a simple, exciting and effective way to introduce people to wellness.  How you tell your story can increase that effectiveness.

We all receive and process information differently. It is important that we recognize ‘who’ is listening to our story and there are some obvious sign posts to help connect quickly. One of those is our speaking pace.

• If your friend is a fast-paced talker they will quickly lose interest if you are speaking slowly. They want you to get to the point quickly!

•If their speaking pace is slow and you are speaking too fast, they will find it hard to keep up with your information and may even feel that you are ‘talking over them’ and disregarding who they are.

SOLUTION:- Practice speaking at a moderate pace. It will enhance your communication skills with prospective team members but also be an asset in all walks of life. We will address many other aspects of connecting with the different personalities in future newsletters.

The basic chemical elements on which essential oil constituents are built are carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, which also happen to be the chemical elements that make up the majority of the human (and animal) body. It is no wonder that authentic, pure and natural essential oils can be so beneficial in balancing our bodies.

TYPES OF TERPENOIDS

Phenylpropanoids – C6 with a C3 side chain

Monoterpenes C10 – 2 isoprene units

Sesquiterpenes C15 – 3 isoprene units

Diterpenes C20 – 4 isoprene units

Triterpenes C30 – 6 isoprene units

PHENYLPROPANOIDS. It is estimated that phenylpropanoids account for over 30% of all organic carbon in the biosphere. They are sometimes called hemiterpenes. There are many varieties of phenylpropanoids which are found in Clove, Cassia, Basil, Cinnamon, Oregano, Anise, and Peppermint.
While they can create conditions where unfriendly viruses and bacteria cannot live, the most important function performed by phenylpropanoids is that they clean the receptor sites on the cells. Without clean receptor sites cells cannot communicate, and the body malfunctions, resulting in sickness.
